How can we use technology to empower all students?
Parents and teachers will walk away from the session with practical solutions to current issues and insights on how to best use some common pieces of technology for their children.
Pieces of technology that can be used both in the classroom and at home to aid struggling learners will be demo’ed and rated. Assistive technology tools that will be presented include apps, websites and audio recording/scanning pens.
This event is only for parents, teachers and Special Needs Assistants (SNAs).
James Northridge, Founder of UrAbility whose mission is to empower families and students with disabilities to overcome their challenges throughout education by using technology.
With a Master’s in Disabilities Studies from University College Dublin, James has trained hundreds of families and SNAs across Europe and the United States to use technology to help their kids learn more effectively.
