Design of a Hybrid Kinect Game to Promote Collaboration between Autistic Players and their Peers.
We are gladly presenting a new paper published in the International Journal of Human-Computer Interaction about the participatory design of a Kinect game for autistic people, which expands on conference proceedings on this same project.
The project is led by Dr. Kristen Gillespie (Psychology) and Dr. Deborah Sturm (Computer Science) and as the authors state “From its inception, autistic college students have been involved in an iterative process to design, evaluate, and redesign the game“.
