Zody’s World: The Clock Catastrophe is an iPad game that promotes social skill development for school age children. Based on evidence-based practices, the mini- games within Zody’s World provide scaffolding to support a range of social skills behaviours. Social skills promoted within Zody’s World include:
- Membership via joining in to co-navigate a maze
- Partnership by carefully coordinating collaborative actions to dig for treasure
- Friendship through various activities of celebrating and commiserating over the shared mission—cooling off a fiery dragon!
Zody’s World runs on iOS4.3 or newer versions and is available for $7.99 on the iTunes store. Boyd and colleagues (2015) recently evaluated user’s interactions when playing Zody’s World.
