Molehill Mountain gets users to track their worries and feelings through a quick daily check-in. The main activity is designed to identify and capture any worries. Completing it unlocks a daily tip, which helps better understand and manage anxiety.
Following that, the user is asked three simple questions about their day events and is given the option to add more context to a daily diary. At each check-in, the users track their progress up a Molehill Mountain visualisation. They can review their stats, tips and diary entries through a dashboard. Users can also share their progress with a trusted supporter.
The team chose a collaborative and iterative approach to developing Molehill Mountain. They brought together autistic people, designers and developers to explore what the app could look like. The team will continue to test and learn with users of the app to plan new features and other improvements.
