CALL Scotland has been maintaining for a few years now a categorised guide to iPad Apps for people with complex communication support needs who could benefit from Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC).

Sally Millar and Gillian McNeill  have divided the apps in ‘expressive’ communication systems and simpler forms of communication.

The wheel features apps that CALL finds useful because they are “reliable; relatively straightforward to use; reasonable/good value for money; stand out in their category for some reason”.
