Every week, Fundación Orange (Spain) publishes an electronic vignette called, Los Lunes, autismo, (‘Monday, autism’) that can be shared with others via social media (e.g., blogs, Facebook, Twitter). ‘Monday, autism’ was created in an effort to raise autism awareness and sensitivity with a heartwarming sense of humor. Each Monday, different cartoonists draw a new vignette inspired by your stories, that is, real experiences from researchers, parents, practioners and individuals with autism. The vignettes encourage consideration of the manner in which individuals with autism perceive the world, simultaneously revealing some of society’s little social contradictions, all with a touch of humor.
