The Participatory Design Conference (PDC) is an international conference that brings together researchers and practitioners from HCI, computer-supported learning, design and information technology. PDC 2018 will be held in Belgium from the 20th until the 24th of August and it offers multiple venues for contributions: full papers, reflective and exploratory short papers, workshops, tutorials and interactive exhibitions. The student project submission is still open with a deadline by the 14th of May.

The Digitising Early Childhood international conference 2018 will take place in Peth, Australia from the 9th until the 13th of July. The inclusion of very young children within the digital realm raises many issues and the conference welcomes paper abstracts and panel proposal submissions on a variety of relevant topics.

The Pathological Demand Avoidance (PDA) Society‘s second conference will be held in Birmingham on 18th April 2018. It is mainly aimed at individuals with PDA, parents and carers, but professionals are also welcome. It will consist of a mixture of speakers, workshops and informal opportunities to meet other parents and it will cover complex issues surrounding PDA.
