CHI19 conference
In conjunction with CHI 2019 (4-9 May 2019, Glasgow, UK)
For the date and time, please check here: https://chi2019.acm.org/for-attendees/full-schedule-of-events/
This is a Special Interest Group (SIG) which challenges Participatory Design (PD) researchers to exchange “war stories” about their unexpected and difficult experiences with PD. Our primary aim in this SIG is to stimulate reflective discussions and practice-sharing among PD researchers in relation to unexpected situations (including failures) which may be experienced during PD. Attendees will be asked to reflect upon and share their unexpected experiences of PD, as the basis of discussion about solutions which have been or could be used in similar situations. There is no need to register, just turn up on the day.
Organisers: Aurora Constantin (University of Edinburgh), Jessica Korte (University of Queensland), Jerry Alan Fails (Boise State University), Cristina Adriana Alexandru, Mihaela Dragomir, Helen Pain (University of Edinburgh), Judith Good (University of Sussex), Franca Garzotto (Politecnico di Milano), Eva Eriksson (Aarhus University), Annalu Waller (University of Dundee).
