Pushing the Boundaries of Participatory Design with Children: Call for participation
This is a one-day workshop organised as part of the IDC 2019 conference held in Boise, Idaho, USA on the 15th of June 2019. It aims to bring together researchers and stakeholders who are interested in sharing and reflecting on their experience with participatory design (PD) with children with special needs.
Both participants and observers are invited to attend the workshop. More information about this workshop can be found on the workshop website.
Potential participants are invited to prepare a four-page position paper following the CHI Extended Abstract Format which describes their experience with PD with children with special needs. Position papers must be submitted as a pdf document by using this form by the 8th of April 2019. Authors of accepted position papers will be invited to extend their position papers to submit to a special issue of a Human Computer Interaction-related journal.
Participants will be notified of acceptance by the 22nd of April 2019. Note that at least one author of each accepted position paper must register for both the workshop and the IDC conference and is expected to attend.
